Classification: Query

Surnames: Spruiell, Pope

Hiram and Lucinda Spruiell were living in Marion County, Alabama in 1850, and were listed in the US Federal Census of 1850 and 1860. The 1850 census lists Hiram and Lucinda Spruiell and 3 children, John Washington, 11, Sarah, 10, and Luke, 8. The 1860 census lists only Luicinda, 42, Sarah, 19, Luke, 17, and Napolean,8. John Washington had married Amanda Pope by then, and evidently Hiram had died sometime betwenn 1852 and 1860.
